About
Urbanue was founded on a simple conviction: cities are not disposable
Cities are living systems shaped by memory, infrastructure, and human aspiration.
When buildings are abandoned or neighborhoods decline, the answer is not demolition and replacement—it is regeneration.
Creating Value through Regenerative Development Solutions
We focus on creating lasting value for communities and investors alike.
The idea behind Urbanue.
Urbanue emerged from decades of work at the intersection of architecture, infrastructure, planning, and real estate development. Through projects spanning regional transit systems, airport master planning, industrial redevelopment, transit-oriented districts, adaptive reuse, and community revitalization initiatives across the United States, Urbanue’s founder, Robert Fejeran, observed a recurring challenge within the built environment: planning, finance, design, and development were too often approached as disconnected disciplines.
Many projects achieved technical success yet failed to create lasting economic resilience, human-scale environments, or meaningful connections to the communities they were intended to serve.
Urbanue was created to bridge those gaps.
The firm was founded on the belief that development should function as an integrated process—where planning, capital strategy, preservation, sustainability, infrastructure, and community engagement are aligned from the very beginning. This approach grew from years of experience collaborating with municipalities, regional agencies, transit authorities, preservation organizations, and private development partners on projects ranging from major urban corridors to smaller community-centered mixed-use districts.
